Today was a rather important day in history- not as important as others (particularly Nov 9th in Germany history).  Here is what I've got for you:

In 1215 the Magna Carta was signed...

In 1752, Ben Franklin conducted his kite experiment

In 1846, the line was drawn between those who finish all sentences with "eh" and those who do not (Boarder between Canada and United States was drawn)

In 1938, Johnny Vandemeer of the CIncinnati Reds, pitched his second straight no-hitter

1995 - During the O.J. Simpson murder trial, O.J. was asked to put on a pair of gloves. The gloves were said to have been worn by the killer on the night of the murders of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. The gloves appeared not to fit. 


Also, today marks 30 days until Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows Part 2 comes out!  I am super excited!!!! No really, excited!  Happy Wednesday!
